Becoming an Associate with 1099 Workers
What You Need to Know

When you enroll with 1099 Workers, you are onboarding as an Associate, which is an on-call W2 position. This structure allows you access employer-sponsored group benefits, including major medical, access to 401k and supplemental benefits.

Your major medical coverage is provided through the CoreChoice program, a union-sponsored group health plan.

This does not change your current job, your freelance status, or your business. You may be employed elsewhere, self-employed, or run your own company — none of that is affected.
